We're talking Rahim Morris, finally got a chance to hear from the 49ers new defensive

coordinator.

And luckily, for those around Morris, he's going to be throwing a pool party

because of some of the draft picks for the 49ers this year, Clay Kubiak, who has been newly

titled Offensive Coordinator, we all know that Kyle calls the plays, but Clay Kubiak available

to the press on the eve of this rookie mini camp. We're going to learn a lot about the rookies

this weekend as well and talk a little bit more about them when we go live on Sunday evening for the Monday morning podcast.

But Clay Kubiak had some really illuminating comments, I think, about what Brock Purdy is working on, about the third string quarterback, Curtis Rourke, and the rookies and a whole lot more.

So I'm excited to get into today's show and learned a lot, I think, about what the 49ers

plans are for 2026.

And let's start with the defensive coordinator and Rahim Morris and Kroc.

I think the number one question that we were all wondering with Rahim Morris is,

how much might the scheme change?

The 49ers drafted someone like Romello Height and Grayson Halton, who were, well, especially Ramello Heights, very different player than what the 49ers have had, even though we did hear

from the 49ers head scouts in R.J. Gillen and Tarika Mod and Josh Williams right after the draft.

And they said that Romello Het was on the 49th draft board

before they even knew who the new defensive coordinator was going to be.
