All right, just got back to the bay from Seattle, riding back home from Levi Stadium.

Plain got back around 8.30 and a long weekend, but a lot to talk about from this game.

So I just want to hit a few quick highlights.

Busy weekend for me.

Went from Penn State Saturday.

Flights were all great.

Got to Seattle around 1030, 11 on Saturday night. And took the first bus to, first time to Lumen Field. I got to tell you a few things. I asked a couple people, like, am I allowed to say this place is awesome? It's awesome. That stadium's awesome. I'd never been there. I know a lot of you guys probably

have, but I'd never been there and you sit out and the thing starts filling up. And the whole, not the whole, but most of the lower section on the far side of the field behind the Niners bench was 49ers fans. That felt like the kind of game the Niners found ways to lose last year. And I think it might be a precursor

for the type of year that it's going to be just in the sense that you're going to have to win those

games. Grindy kind of, I don't, I kind of felt like classic older Seattle games, but like

the classic Seattle Nider games when neither team was quite ready to win a championship.

But we'll see. I think that team can really rush the passer and Jackson Smith and Jigba's really good.

That game, if they have Gino and D.K. might go a different way, but they don't have Gino and DK.

Jackson Smith and Jigba ate them up, but the Niners made some key defensive plays when they had to.

You know, I think that one of the big, one of the early 2025 stories, if you think about what was one of the early 2025 stories for the 49ers, it was the schedule. And then 15 other things happened.

Contracts and injuries.

And, you know, the concern really turned to whether this team was good enough to win enough games to make the playoffs is good enough.

And it's legitimate.

I mean, we'll see.

I think they are.

But I think you've got to go back to the fundamental thing that kind of this off season or this season started with, which is the schedule.

And, you know, if you watch the end of that, I caught the end of the Sunday night game, those two teams, the Ravens and the Bills are not on the 49ers schedule this year. And you can't do that every year.
