So I really want to pick your brain on what we saw out there for the 49th preseason game

There was a not a big wide receiver trade, but there was a veteran wide receiver traded

in the NFL today.

And it was John Mechie, former second round pick of the Houston Texans, that was sent to

the Philadelphia Eagles for Harrison Bryant, a backup kind of third string tied in.

And it was like, okay, John Mechie traded.

You know, the Texans have just an embarrassment of riches at wide receiver right now. They drafted two more guys. The second rounder, Jaden Higgins, his college teammate in Jalen Noel in a fourth round, I think it was, to go with Christian Kirk, who they brought in, Tink Dell's kind of on the shelf for them right now, and then they've got a star in Nico Collins. So a really deep group of wide receivers there. They got another guy is Xavier Hutchinson. I think it's actually running ahead of the rookies right now as the number three wide receiver too. So they obviously had extra guys. And the 49ers gave old Domingo and gave the Texans a call. they weren't able to get this deal done because apparently, according to Jordan Shultz, the 49ers gave old Domingo and gave the Texans a call.
