and with me as always is my brother and arms say hey. Hey, that's right. It's a Veperson and I'm the other guy on this podcast framerate where we rate frames and here comes a snooty film reference. There's a third man. You see the third man. I didn't care for it.

That's not what we're talking about today, though, because we have Mr. Zack sure went here. What? What? Hey, Zack say hi. Hi, pals. Thanks so much for having me on. I've seen the third man. Oh, yeah, what do you think? I like people's capsule opinion of the third man. I always get confused if whether that's the one with Orson Wells and or if it's the one with the like couple who drinks a lot and makes a lot of jokes. It's in man. Maybe you're thinking of the thin man in the second case. Yeah.

Yeah. I haven't seen the thin man. Yeah. That's the Orson Wells. I wrote a paper about the third man about the Ferris wheel scene. Really? Yeah. What I say about the Ferris wheel scene. Do you remember? I it's pretty vague. But my memory, not the paper. It was very specific and exact my recollection is that there's like as the conversation the famous scene with a high stakes conversation on a Ferris wheel as it like it's like heaven and hell stuff as the Ferris wheel goes up.

And so you can like map the action of the whether they're still ascending stopped or descending to like where the conversation is going. And there's like info to be gleaned from that text.

Man, I've heard that argument before actually that's really good firmly out of bounds, like based on the scope of the episode. But so interesting. Should we just deal with third man episode?

We're in third man.

Third man. You're in. You're in Tokyo. Anyway, we're talking Tokyo Godfathers.

That's right. That's what came out of the rabble. Um, but I just want to write up top say, how great it is to hear your voice.

Still a big fan as you as we set off my heaven talk for years. But man, just good to see your face.

I'm moving my notes so I can see your face again. Yeah. There it is. Yeah, we're old friends.

It's a nice testament to the durability of friendship that you and I haven't seen each other in such a long time.

But it's, you know, we know what we've been doing. It's very comfortable and instantly back on an Abe.

We've just met, but you seem right. And I look forward to some distant far off future where we reminisce back about this.

We're, yeah, we're going to have a whole adventure. It's going to be crazy. Right. Yeah. It's interesting because it's if over the course of time,

it's like a real friendship sutured together by lengths of pair of social friendship.

Because I do vaguely know what you're doing at all times, even though we don't talk for four or five years. But anyway,

right. I don't know exactly what I've been speculating on this entire time. And what I could never get my head around is,

hey, do you like Tokyo Godfathers? Do you have any interest in the film Tokyo Godfathers? Where's that sit in your brain?

I didn't have any interest or frankly, no of its existence before you sent me a list of possible movies that we might talk about for this episode.

That's not too far behind the curtain. But that's so cool. I have a cinephile buddy.

And I sent that list to him. And I was like, which of the, you know my tastes? Which of these should I watch?
