Yeah, but not on purpose.

He caused a sun to go supernova, and in the process, the scientist named Egros was merged with everything else the Nova destroyed.

Ergo becoming Ego the living planet.

And alter ego, right?

Right, the stranger gave alter ego to the collector and made sure the second planet was raised to hate ego in hopes of someday making them fight.

Making two planets fight, okay. Any other celestial bodies on his CV?

Well, there's Id the living moon.

What's Id's deal? Is he Ego goes, sidekick or, or nemesis?

Oh, Id just wants to party.

I guess it goes with the name.

Or at least he did until Deadpool killed him.

where we walk you through the ins, the outs, and the retcons of comics, greatest superhero soap opera. And welcome back to the X-Men, which is a weird thing to say, because it's almost all X-Men these days. We're doing almost no spinoffs. But, like, there are all these annuals and issues of X-Mond Unlimited and random Chris Claremont miniseries. And so, like, we're making very slow progress, even though we're covering fewer books. Personally, I blame the Neo. The fucking Neo. So, yes, okay, we'll get there. But, like, the Neo are Chris Claremont's, you know, big villains, of course, that he's really focusing on in this era. I do appreciate that when he came back to the X-Men in the Revolution era, he didn't just reuse the same old villains again and again. Like, there's not a, oh, look, it's the Daleks again. It would be weird if X-Men fought

the Daleks. But no, the Neo are going to become much less relevant after, I believe,

X-Men 107 or 106. Yeah, yeah, then eventually they'll just get blown up by some other random villains many, many,

many years later after not being mentioned for a long time.
