The Hello and welcome to mini episode number 494 of real life ghost stories. And I have three

spooky stories for you today and the last story comes from the 30th of October 2025. And

story number one comes from Beth.

I've been thinking about writing in for a while, to share an experience I had at a place I

used to work in Wales, something I still can't explain to this day.

Whenever I tell people about it, I still get goosebumps.

The place was a large old restaurant that sat on the

edge of a cliff directly opposite a lighthouse. It was a massive building, dating back many years,

and at night it would get bitterly cold. No matter how much we tried to heat it, it always seemed to hold onto the chill.

To paint the picture, there were three main parts to the building. There was the cafe area with its own

small kitchen, the main restaurant, which had another kitchen that led down into a huge dry store

with a walk-in freezer, and finally the upstairs function room,

which also had a storage area and a small office tucked behind it.

My first strange experience started quite subtly.

One evening, while locking up, I heard someone coughing on the cafe side of the building.

Naturally, I called out my colleagues to see where they were. No answer. I checked the toilets. Nothing. Then, glancing out

the window, I saw them all huddled outside in the rain, waiting for me to come out so I could lock

up. I brushed it off, assuming maybe it was an echo or the building settling.

About a week later it happened again.

This time I knew for certain everyone was outside.

I could see them through the glass door.
