What? Welcome to the Huntsback Country Podcast. This is episode number 492 and as part of the

experience project today's episode is a conversation that Steve and I had with our friend and guide Mark Roanhorst from Alaska about the Mountain Goat Hunt. If you are new to the

experience project essentially it's all based around three hunts taking place

this fall fall of 2024 in Alaska, a caribou hunt, a moose hunt, and a mountain goat hunt.

This conversation was recorded before all those hunts, but it's being released after our Caribou Hunt

during the Moose Hunt.

The guys are up there right now

as this episode is released,

and of course before the Mountain Goat Hunt.

We talk in this conversation with Mark

just about the plan for the hunt.

We've done this type of conversation very unscripted

for each of the hunts and this episode primarily wanted to hear from

Steve because this is a hunt that he has not done but it is a hunt that I have done. In 2022, as you'll hear about, I hunted mountain

goats in the same area of Southeast Alaska that will be hunting later this fall.
