John, it's great to be here. Thanks for having me. Thank you. It is our pleasure. A few words about

Damien. An entrepreneur at heart had his first business age 11 and has started 30 more cents, founder of his own martial

art, Yikido, and holder of three other black belts. Damien paid for his first rental house

with a visa. He bought 150 houses in seven states over a five-year period and then went through

a $20 million meltdown in 2008.

Today, he runs an Austin-based fintech dedicated to disrupting Wall Street

by getting people off the Wall Street roller coaster and in control of their money and financial future.

He's written five books with two more being released in 2017.

Today's topic, today's expert topic

is reinventing retirement, which is couldn't be more timely. So you have a ton of experience

on this. Take the floor for a minute and set the stage and tell us where to begin. I think it was a

great prep. So what my thinking, my philosophy and my teaching is all about it. It's all about my

experiences being in this space of creating wealth and working both on my own wealth and with

people that were either going into retirement or had already, quote, unquote, retired. And then some of
