Earlier this year at the end of March, the administration, the White House, Trump, issued an executive order on elections.

And I think the number one thing for people to know is that this order is unlawful. And in fact, a part of it has already been put on pause.

The president has no authority to order what he did in this executive order.

Your voting rights aren't what they used to be.

Voting rights in America is something that have never been able to be taken for granted. But right now,

there is a multi-faceted attack on voting access that is taking place at all levels, federal, state, and local.

So what can you do about it? And how can you protect your vote in the next election and the one after that and the one after that?

Well, that's why I'm so glad to have with me as a guest this week, Hannah Freed of all voting is local.

So I always start out by asking my guest

to introduce themselves to our audience so that they know a little bit about you and what you do

there at All Voting is Local. Yeah, thank you. So I'm a co-founder and the Executive Director

of All Voting is Local. I've been with the organization since we got off the ground, 2017, early 2018. And we work in eight states. We're a multi-state voting rights organization. Our work is focused on fighting for free and fair elections, particularly for voters of color and other historically disenfranchised folks. And our work is in our theory of

change, our focus, our energy is around election officials. And the decisions that those people are

making about your ability to register and to vote and to have your vote count. This is your local

election clerk. It's your board of elections.

It's your secretary of state. They're making decisions about where to put polling locations.

They're making decisions about how to process your voter registration application.

They're making decisions about whether your vote is going to count. And we want to make sure

when they're making those decisions that they're thinking about the communities that they're
