I mean, I used to sell Voss water in the nightclubs for $10 a bottle.

And I remember selling 10 bottles to people as they would come in $100 a water and they

wouldn't open a single bottle.

Was I drinking champagne or vodka instead?

So I think there was just something so stark in the contrast of people don't have the most

basic need for human life.

And then the excess on the other end, we charge $10 for water that doesn't even go

opened.

Dude, I got to tell you, I may have told you on the phone when I spoke with you a long time ago, but I'll say it again now and then I'll actually get

into the podcast. So I, a year ago, decided to start this thing called The Better Life Tribe,

and I decided at that moment, due to a lot of circumstances, I was going to make the whole thing

a nonprofit and some level, give away all the money. And I said to a buddy at that time, I said, you know, of all the people in the world

that I want to meet, the one person, I was at dinner, I said, the one person I want to meet more

than anybody else is Scott Harrison from Charity Water. And I said, because I think that guy knows how to

run a nonprofit better than anybody I know. And I had read, you know, thirst, and I knew a bit of what you'd done. And the next day I'm on the phone with John Rulin.
