Hey everyone, welcome back to another episode of Monday Meditations.

I hope you had an amazing weekend.

I hope that it was really soul-filling and that you had some great time with your family and friends.

But to start the week off right, the phrase we're going to be meditating on is personal revival.

Revival isn't reserved for tents or stages or headlines.

It's meant to live and breathe inside of you.

And when we're walking in revival, our hearts are tender again.

Our joy returns and our lives overflow with the kind of love that catches fire in others.

We don't just survive. We come alive. But then how do we live there? You can have this

revival moment, but how do we stay in it? How do we stay lit while the world around us feels

like it's running on empty? So I took some time to really meditate on this,

to pray on this, and wrote down five rhythms to help you cultivate a lifestyle of personal

and perpetual revival. Because I think it's really important to have that right now in this day and

age, and especially as we're living in a culture that constantly is screaming

at us.

So here are the five rhythms.

The first one, bring every corner of your life under Christ's rule.

Revival begins with a throne exchange, where Jesus doesn't just influence your life.

He owns it. This is a daily choice, a decisive moment

each morning where you say, Jesus, you get it all. You get my thoughts, you get my time, you get my

relationships, my work, my desires. It's all yours. It's not a one-time prayer. It's a reoccurring surrender.
