So let us start with the Shanti Mantra.

Ombhadram Karanibhishyamhyahyahah, Bhadram Pashya Bhirya jatra,

Stirae Rangay, stushu-vrava, swastin of Pusha, Vishwaveda,

Oam, shanty, shanty, shanty, shanty. So we are in the third chapter of the Mandukhya Karika

and the third chapter aims to demonstrate the non-duality,

that there is one non-dual reality, one without a second,

with, tries to demonstrate it with reason based on experience.

And you are that non-dual reality.

So Gaudapad has come to this position where he reduces the entire teaching to what he calls no mind,

Amani Bhaha. Basically we calls no mind. Amani bha.

Basically we saw no mind does not mean not thinking,

becoming mindless or brainless or something like that,

not falling asleep, not going into a coma or something like that,

or not even remaining all the time in samadhi.

No. No mind basically means spiritualization of the mind.

So the mind which is the source of samsara and trouble no longer becomes the source of samsar and trouble.

In fact, it is, as the Bhagavad Gita says, the mind itself is your best friend, the mind itself is your greatest enemy.

So how to make this mind which is our greatest enemy into our best friend?

That's another way of putting it.
