Summary

Bryan Ravit is a tenacious, 32-year-old salesman who is mastering the art of the selling. For over a decade, Bryan has been doing sales the hard way, cold calling, and door-2-door. He has continuously developed and refined his skill and used it to bounce back from tough financial situations and thrive, really thrive. He is on track to make $500k this year, with most of that coming in just a 7-month window. Bryan started in sales as just a teenager (and was admittedly not very good) and has since learned how to sell to just about anyone, and anywhere. Drop him in any neighborhood in America and he will end the day several thousand dollars richer. He is as ambitious as he is inspiring, helping all types of people learn how to sell and make their own way by watching him do exactly that.

This episode proves that there are many ways to make money by investing in yourself and developing skills, even when it can be extremely uncomfortable to start. Sales, especially door-2-door have been around for 5000+ years, and it has never been easier to make big $ apply this skill than in modern day.

Hey, everyone, this is Johnny, and welcome to episode 49 in the Vest Like a Boss podcast.

Back here with Sam Marks.

0:33.4

Johnny, guys, well, one thing we've definitely learned through this podcast and just through our own

0:38.2

experiences, Johnny, are there's a ton of ways out there to make money, especially when you

0:42.4

invest in yourself. And this week, we have on Brian Rabbit, who's a friend of mine and is killing

0:47.9

it. A couple weeks ago, we had Bryce Leo on. Brian is making 500K a year, he's doing it the hard way, door to door sales. Last summer,

1:00.1

he made 190 grand in five months. And this year, he's crushing that. So, dude, this is going to be

1:06.9

an explosive episode. I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, this is going to be very, very different than our normal investment episodes. One of the reasons why we wanted to have

1:15.4

Brian on the show today is just because there's a lot of people right now who are like, you know,

1:20.5

you know, Sam, Johnny, I want to invest all these cool things you guys keep talking about,

1:24.4

but I don't have the capital. I don't have the money for it.

1:28.6

You know, the most I can do is save 20% of my, my salary, and that salary might only be 50 grand.

1:35.8

So it's, you know, it's not, there's not that much extra to play with. This episode, I think

1:40.8

Brian is going to just shatter that reality and say the option is out there to to hustle, to get into sales. And you might not necessarily want to do the same thing as Brian or do door to door sales or sales at all. But I think if you guys listen to this episode with the kind of open mind, you might start thinking, okay, I can take some these tips and some of this mindset, either towards my own job, or maybe I do want to hustle.

2:05.0

Maybe I do want to hustle for summer. Maybe I do want to hustle for a year.

2:08.7

Yeah, I would say that door to door sales is definitely not for everybody, but sales strategy

2:13.3

should be. And having some type of experience, even if you just read a couple books, it's a must

2:18.7

have. Sales strategy is applicable to just about anything. Johnny and O, of all the stuff that you do

2:24.0

online, you know, sales strategy overlaps a lot of online marketing in terms of hooks and emotions
