Hello, this is Paul McKenna, and welcome to the positivity podcast.

My objective is to interview the most interesting people in the world,

and in the next 30 minutes, get insights and even discover how it is that they do what they do,

what makes them unique and fascinating, their success

mindset, and certainly what keeps them positive. My guest today is an internationally

successful singer-songwriter known for her hits such as Lost Without You and Castles. I'm talking

today with Freya Riding's. Trying to visualize a good future, it's the hardest

thing. But when you've got it, everything kind of aligns and I love vision boarding, I love

visualising. I write a diary every single night and I pick off whether I've done the things I want

to do or not. And that keeps me grounded 100%. I think it's one of my favorite moments of being alive.

It's dancing to songs I love, running to songs I love, being a gig.

So it's the music mixed with the exercise that for me just kind of cracked the code and I felt joyful doing it for the first time.

Once you know how to consciously enjoy food and exercise, it ripples into every area.

And so suddenly people that didn't like bring joy in me,

you know, you kind of move away from them.

People who do bring joy in you, you move towards them.

How am I going to sing everything like perfectly?

These people have paid money.

This is such a honour.

That it's such a big responsibility.
