stuck with me. She stated that her concern is the propensity of Christians to

compartmentalize their worldview. In other words, the tendency is to put our theology in one compartment, our

ethics in another compartment, and our politics, and yet another one.

She was clear that theology comes first. Our politics and ethics are going to flow downstream from that

theology, but we can't separate them completely and still maintained a fully

orbed biblical worldview. Well, this was kind of a light bulb moment for me because she put into language what I've been feeling and seeing, but haven't quite been able to articulate.

And it makes so much sense of what we have seen regarding tropes and claims like just preach the gospel and the

accusation of Christian nationalism and the politically charged love

your neighbor narrative that was used to silence conservative Christians
