0:58.2	these words from Isaiah 53 that basically remind us that there was nothing in him humanly speaking
1:07.9	to draw us to him. Nothing in Jesus. He had no form or majesty that we should even
1:15.4	look at him, no beauty that we should desire him. This is very different than what people would be
1:23.8	expecting or were expecting when it comes to a Messiah, a king or ruler.
1:28.0	And the reality is it's the same in our world today.
1:32.8	Like we look toward people who have forms that attract us to the majesty that
1:38.7	that shouts splendor and grandeur, beauty that's desirable or power that's desirable.
1:46.5	And Jesus had none of that.
1:48.7	In fact, the opposite was true of him.
1:51.3	He was despised by men, rejected by men, as one from whom men hide their faces.
1:59.2	Like, I don't even want to look at him.
2:01.6	We despised him, esteemed him not.
