Hey everyone, in today's Rebuttal, I'll be responding to Joe Schmid at Majesty of Reason.

He's an up-and-coming non-religious philosopher of religion, and he definitely needs to be

commended for raising the level of dialogue between Christians and atheists.

So in this video, I'm going to respond to some comments that he made about the opening

statement that I gave in my debate against Alex O'Connor, the cosmic skeptic a few months

ago on Pines of the Quinus.

Also I want to reiterate my policy that if Schmid responds to this video, I'm not going

to make a response to his response.

I just, I don't do rebuttals to rebuttals.

It keeps me from getting into a Hilbert's hotel like situation of infinite rebuttals.

However, a debate or some other kind of public engagement between us might be very promising.

So I'll definitely look into that maybe in spring because I have a few other debates lined

up here in the fall.

So all right, let's dive into my reply to Joe Schmid on my case for the existence of

God and his thoughts on it.

So the first thing I'm going to do is I'm going to let Schmid just kind of set the stage

with his original video and show what he's talking about.

And as he does that, you'll see why he really models an excellent approach to dialogue that

other non-religious people should look at.
