Welcome back, everybody, to The Incomparable, a podcast in which we watch Spider-Man movies

and do drafts with very strange rules.

And I think that's all we do on this podcast anymore.

And this is one of those draft episodes where, okay, let me explain this, because this is one of my more complicated draft premises.

I'm calling this the sequel or not draft.

And the idea here is I want to, I want us to use this episode to ponder movie sequels.

And there are a few different ways to ponder it.

And we're going to bring them both out two of the best ways to ponder sequels.

We're going to bring them out in this draft, which is there's a movie you like and you want

more. There's just the one movie. And you're like, God, they should make another movie with

these people because it's really great. And we're going to talk about that. I'm going to have everybody draft movies that demanded sequels in your mind but never got them. And you wish there were a

sequel. Now, the flip side of that is sometimes there's a movie you really love and they make a sequel.

And you think, oh no, no, no, no, no, they should not have done it. And so we are also going to draft

movies that shouldn't have had sequels. So it's really the knife's edge of the sequel.

Sometimes you live by the sequel. Sometimes you die by the sequel. And we're going to talk about it

here. And if it's successful commercially this episode, I don't know how that would happen.
