So I got a job right out of college at Word Publishing in Waco, Texas, a Christian

book and music company.

That was a big deal in those days.

Oh, man, it was a big deal.

Yeah.

And I'd been there for about a year and a half when David, who became my husband, moved from

Portland, Oregon to Waco, Texas, which was a big move for him. And we met around the halls.
