Well, one of the things I told before I had you come on here was I sort of scared people a little bit,

some of the scams and the things that tenants have done to landlords out there.

Is there any particular story in your almost a decade of landlording

that kind of stands out as maybe a first example of a way that a tenant could

scam a landlord?

I mean, the first thing that comes to mind is, oh, there's just so many.

Where should I start?

The first thing that comes to mind, probably the way that tenants try to scam a landlord,

honestly, in my opinion, is the ESA pet.

People are trying to get their pets. They don't want to

pay pet rent. They don't want to pay a security deposit. And of all of the ones that I'm aware of,

to me, that's the number one thing that I run into often, just with tenant applications,
