My name is Zach Schamler, this is Strong Opinion Sports sports episode 480.

Now the NFL draft is over.

We have a lot of, a couple things to recap and talk about.

Hope we're doing very, very well.

Let's jump into the most interesting part of the draft in my opinion,

which is, I mean the first round is really good. There's a couple of good players in the second round.

I thought Philadelphia had a really good draft all around, but there were six

quarterbacks taken in the first five rounds of the NFL draft. Only one of them,

Kenny Pickett, is expected to be a starting quarterback anytime soon.

But these are a bunch of guys that I am interested in watching during the preseason.

I think it's going to be a specifically really fun preseason to watch a bunch of

rookie quarterbacks come in and just see where they're at and how they grow and how they

develop over the course of the three preseason games. Now the first quarterback drafted was when the Pittsburgh Steelers

drafted Kenny Pickett number 20 overall the quarterback out of Pittsburgh. He is

expected to be the Pittsburgh Steelers starting quarterback and franchise quarterback

relatively soon.

If he doesn't start week one, he will be expected to play fairly early on in his career.

If Mitchell-Dribisci wins the job immediately, like week six or seven,

I think Kenny Pickett by that time is going to be a starting quarterback.

Again, if not, immediately week one.
