Hi and welcome to this episode of the Recharge Series from the Be Still and

Beloved podcast. My name is Aaron Bremer and I'm thrilled to be with you today.

In our time together we will listen to what God has to say,

bring our focus to our breathing, and allow our bodies to reset and recharge.

I'd like you to find a comfortable position, maybe sitting in a chair, resting on

your couch, or even lying in your bed.

Let's begin by feeling our breath move in and out. Can you take notice of how the air

comes in through your nose and then out through your nose or your mouth.

As you continue to focus on your breath,

I'd like to ask you a couple of questions.

Do you ever find it hard to be nice to others when they haven't been nice to you?

Do you ever struggle to do the right thing when you're the only one doing the right thing?

If you answered yes, you're not alone.

There's a guy named Joseph in the Bible. We're going to learn

from him a guy who knew what it was like to be mistreated and still chose to be kind in the heart.

In Genesis 40, the first book of the Bible. It says this. After they had been in custody for a while,

the King's Cup-bearer and Baker while being held in jail both had a dream on the same night

each dream having its own meaning

When Joseph arrived in the morning he noticed that they were feeling low. So he asked them, the two

officials of Pharaoh who had been thrown into jail with him, what's wrong? Why the long faces? They said, we dream dreams and there's no one to interpret them.

Joseph said, don't interpretations come from God? Tell me the dreams. First the head cut bearer told his dream to Joseph.
