Summary
Is there a cure for anxiety?
Anxiety is the uncontrollable and often irrational anticipation of future threats and one of the most commonly diagnosed mental health conditions. It is your brain working on overdrive to keep you safe from all the things your mind sees as threatening. And childhood trauma can play a huge part in whether you develop anxiety as an adult. Mireya Lopez was born to a very young mother who was unable to give her the love she needed and was absent for much of her life. Raised by a grandmother who was also unable to show any real love or affection, Mireya’s story is full of abandonment on many levels. By the time she was a teen, Mireya was sadly left with the feeling that she shouldn’t be here at all. Anxiety ran through Mireya’s life as a coping mechanism and as an adult she is still managing her anxiety daily. Mireya has an important story to share with you and some great tips on how to have a good day every day for anxiety sufferers.
