Summary

Aram fills in for Jack and joins Peter to evaluate the big trades before around 6:00 PM EST on Thursday. Jack will be back tomorrow, joined by Peter and Dustin Demeter to cover the second half of the deadline. In this episode, Aram and Peter talk about those seven deals and then are joined by Eric Hubbs, Yankees/MLB Writer for Barstool Sports, to talk Yankees + the Joey Gallo trade. While recording, a couple of enormous trades came through, and everyone freaked out.

MLB Trade Deadline:

1. The White Sox acquired (RP) Ryan Tepera from the Cubs in exchange for lefty prospect Baily Horn

2. Cleveland second baseman (2B) César Hernández is headed to the White Sox for minor league left-hander Konnor Pilkington.

3. (2B/3B) Eduardo Escobar traded to the Milwaukee Brewers, Arizona Diamondbacks receive minor-leaguers Cooper Hummel and Alberto Ciprian.

4. The Astros acquired right-handed reliever Yimi García from the Marlins in exchange for prospects Bryan de la Cruz and Austin Pruitt.

5. The Marlins dealt outfielder Starling Marte to the Oakland A’s in exchange for left-hander Jesus Luzardo.

6. Seattle Mariners acquired left-handed starter Tyler Anderson from the Pittsburgh Pirates for (C) Carter Bins and right-hander Joaquin Tejada.

7. Blue Jays acquired (RP) Brad Hand in exchange for catcher Riley Adams.
