with this. What would you say is the most surprising thing that has happened over the last,

we'll call it this transaction period since the draft. You and I recorded the day

after the draft. I actually think the most surprising thing was that the Clippers actually let Paul

George go, that they weren't willing to do the fourth year, that they held firm on giving him the

same deal that Kauai did, which had been their position going back months and months. But I thought

when their feet got held to the fire in free agency that they

would ultimately capitulate and they did not. And I think that is clearly the work of the second

apron and the more punitive repeater tax right there that in the old environment, the Clippers

would have just said, screw it. I found that explanation lacking, personally.

I think, like, because what difference is the fourth year make to that?
