Summary
This week, the gals are coming at you live from the city of angels! That’s right, D and Jac are recording from L.A. and would like you all to know that they won’t be becoming Angelinos any time soon (no offense to our L.A. listeners). The ladies start off by painting a picture of their rocky (less than) 48 hours in L.A., and let’s just say, it’s been a journey. From motion sickness to traffic and a variety of humbling moments, there’s a lot to unpack. They then dive into why they’re in Los Angeles and share their experience attending the End Well Conference! Thanks to their dear friend, both in real life and of the pod, Dr. Shoshana Ungerleider, founder and director of End Well, a non-profit organization that aims to normalize conversations surrounding death and end-of-life care, Jac and D were able to attend this incredible event. They share the highlights of the conference, including some of the standout speakers and the thoughts and feelings that came up for them throughout, both as healthcare professionals and as human beings. There’s no denying that it was a heavy day, but one filled with so much love, hope, and such beautiful messages about life, grief, and death.

| 0:19.2 | I think that we've learned so far in our trips to L.A. is that Jack and I are not Angelinos. And I don't think we could ever be Angelinos. No, I could not. I could not be a L.A. native. No, no, no, no, no. I could not. I think I can only spend, maybe like five days here. |
| 0:40.5 | I think that five days is my max. Same. I don't even know what it is. I think it's just like a |
| 0:46.4 | combination of... I know exactly what it is for you. The traffic. I think traffic would kill Jack |

| 0:57.0 | Oh, my God. |
| 0:59.2 | I had the worst day of my life yet. |

| 1:02.2 | I was dramatic. |
| 1:02.9 | I don't want to say of the worst day of my life yesterday. |
| 1:04.4 | Because yesterday was a great day. |
| 1:05.4 | But, like, I had a rough fucking day yesterday. |
| 1:08.5 | Well, we were at a very emotional conference, but we will get back in on that. |
| 1:13.1 | Jack has been on the struggle bus with car sickness. Yeah. Like, I haven't been having this motion |
| 1:20.4 | sickness since I flew into L.A. We had all this turbulence, and I was so motion sick on this plane. |
| 1:26.8 | Thank God they have the puke bags. I literally grabbed the |
| 1:29.8 | puke bag and was just like holding on dear life. And I was like, do not puke on this plane. Do not |
| 1:34.0 | puke on this plane. Do not puke on this plane. And then we left this conference and because it's L.A., |
| 1:39.8 | we had to take an hour Uber to get to dinner in our way. But our app wasn't even working. |
| 1:47.5 | Yeah. There's no Uber's. It took us 30 minutes just to even like get an Uber. And my motion sickness |
| 1:53.0 | like kicked in into full gear the second we got into that Uber. I felt so bad. Like I couldn't |
| 2:00.5 | even. Oh my God, first you start |
