I'm doing well Katie and yourself.

I'm doing very well. I'm interested to be diving deep into something we don't normally do in talking about an iPad app.

Yeah, well this one seems to be on everybody's radar lately.

Yeah, we're going to be talking this episode about Good Reader, which is an app that has just

kept popping up in conversation over the last several episodes.

You know, we talked about it in conjunction with Dropbox.

We talked about it with Merlin Mann.

We talked about it several episodes ago.

I think in our note-taking app,

or show to some degree, we talked about it in our iPad episodes and it just seemed like it was time

to really dig deep on Good Reader. So maybe not quite the marathon shows that we've been used to

recently, but hey, that's not a bad thing every now and then yeah it's

funny I had kind of an interesting courtship with Good Reader you know it was one

dollar when the app store first opened up for the iPad you know so everybody

bought it because it was a buck, you know. But I was using

air sharing and Reedel Docs and frankly some other apps that had a better look and feel

than Good Reader. It just always kind of felt to me like it was ugly. I don't know.

You know? I don't like this. I don't like the shade of green. I don't really care for the

icon and then when you open it up it's a lot of dials and whistles and bells and levers and it just doesn't really feel, you know, I guess

Mack-like even though that's kind of a silly term.
