Matt?

You usually have so much Pep in your step.

What's wrong?

Well, I don't know.

I mean, it seems kind of silly to tell you about.

It's not silly, Matt. If you're sad, I want to know why.

Okay, well, here's the deal. I was supposed to have my birthday party this weekend. It was going to be awesome. We were going to have a barbecue outside and go to a baseball game.

It does sound awesome. So what happened?

Well, right before it was supposed to start, a crazy thunderstorm came out of nowhere.

We thought it was going to be a beautiful sunny day and then all of a sudden boom rain thunder lightning the whole

shebang so what happened next well everyone came to my house and we did eat some food together and we watched the game on TV, but it just wasn't the same.

I'm so sorry, friend. I hope you get to go to a game with your pals really soon and I hope

next year's party is doubly fun. Well, should we talk about our lesson for

today? You know, to get your mind off the party? That's a great idea.

It'll cheer me up for sure.

But what are we going to learn about?
