Summary

The Seahawks put up 35 points on Sunday, but the interior of the offensive line did not grade out well according to Pro Football Focus? What goes into the grading metrics and how does a player like Anthony Bradford get a zero grade in the pass game? We contrast Bradford's performance with Grey Zabel on the opposite side. A mix of the quick game, moving the pocket and some elusiveness form Sam Darnold helped to make this offense shine and performances by AJ Barner and Tory Horton are helping contribute to this offensive success.

The conversation shifts to the defensive side, where linebacker and secondary play were notably problematic. Missed tackles and lapses in coverage allowed the Buccaneers to convert multiple third-and-long situations. Up front, the pass rush wasn't effective and that leads to a discussion about potential moves the Seahawks could make. Pursuing Trey Hendrickson from the Bengals could bolster the defensive line, but would the cost be worth it? Are there some other potential trade options the Seahawks should consider?

I'm Brandon Schultz, and I am joined by my good buddy, Adam Emmert, as Adam, we are live on a Tuesday night following a big Mariners playoff win. So, you know, as much as Seahawks fans, hopefully there's some crossover to at least pick up your spirits a little bit after Sunday's loss. I don't know about you. I don't know what's made you happy other than maybe getting work done around the house. Worked out around the house. It certainly has nothing to do with the Mariners, that's for sure.

0:39.1

But congratulations on the wind.

0:40.5

That's great.

0:41.2

And I'm glad we were able to get this started after that so everybody could get that in. Congrats to the Mariners. I don't know. Is it 2-1 now for them? 2-1. Yeah. And then got one more road game and hopefully they just finish it off tomorrow and we call it good.

0:55.0

Oh, five game series.

0:55.9

Okay.

0:56.4

Five game series and baseball for this, uh, divisional round and then championship, I think is seven. Oh, I don't know. It's been a long time since I've watched a championship series as, uh, Mr. Fairweather baseball fans. So, yeah, man never know what rules change in between there, no doubt about it.

1:13.3

But enough about the Mariners, because I don't care.

1:16.3

And let's talk a little bit about this crushing defeat, man.

1:20.2

Like crushing maybe is a little apoplectic.

1:23.6

But like, yeah, that's a tough loss.

1:25.6

And we're here to talk about it again because we're a glutton for punishment.

1:29.2

Well, it's, it gives you an opportunity to go back, watch some things, answer some questions that maybe you had following the game.

1:38.9

Like, I know for myself, especially after watching the game and then seeing how some of the grades worked

1:47.3

out for the offensive line, I wanted to go back and answer some of my own questions about

1:51.8

because, gosh, there's so many times where you see some of the offensive line grades, and

1:57.2

it does take a lot of work to go in and watch individual performances.

2:02.1

But after we saw that video last week highlighting just how bad Anthony Bradford was,

2:07.5

I kind of wanted to get ahead of it because he graded out for his pass blocking.

2:12.2

They gave him a zero.
