Welcome to the Scuff Podcast where we talk about US Soccer. The U.S. Men's National Team returns to action a week from today in Dallas versus Jamaica.

First real game since Sergenio punted the ball into the

stands and we lost a Trinidad. Greg, how you doing? I'm doing great balls. I am

thrilled that we are back with the men's program. I'm

thrilled that we have a roster that again is just fun. It's fun to see the

core still be the core. It's fun to see some of the curveballs, knowing that, knowing that

we're excited for basically all of them. Like there is no curveball that we're not excited about.

And then, you know, a game we were kind of a game.

We were kind of playing that I hope wasn't too mean-spirited

in the discord for the months of this

once, was who is the most disappointing player

that could reasonably be called up to this roster. And we were talking about players like Brendan Aronson.

And it's like, what are we now if Brendan

Aronson is going to be like the big disappointment to even be included on a roster.

And again I don't even, it's too mean-spirited because the whole idea is,

Brennan Aronson is a fine soccer player.

Yeah, yeah.

Who played a real role for us in qualifying for a World Cup and then being a utility player

in a World Cup, where we got out of a decently difficult group.

And that suddenly is the guy that's like, if he makes it, it's not quite as exciting

as if some other up-and-coming player makes the roster. So all that to say, like, it's a happy time.

I think so, yeah. And you know, spoiler alert, Brendan's not on the roster. We're obviously here to talk about the roster that was announced yesterday on the Paramount Plus broadcast.
