Robert has been acting for most of his life. He started out on the stage then went into TV working on shows like The Rockford Files, The Streets Of San Francisco, Laverne & Shirley and The Love Boat. But then an audition landed him the role of a lifetime and his whole life changed. That Audition was for Airplane.

0:17.0	seeing Game of Thrones. That's right. You heard me right. What are you crazy? You
0:24.9	know what you're game of Thrones? Oh man, where are you? I haven't had a TV in
0:32.5	exactly almost to the date eight years, which is funny to think because TV was
0:41.2	such a big part of my upbringing growing up in the 70s TV. It's all you had.
0:50.9	It's all you had. You had like, I don't know what it was, like eight channels. And
0:57.7	then later on, Showtime came around and just your head blew off. And then of
1:03.4	course, cable, you know, MTV, but early on it was just the big power NBC, ABC,
1:12.7	CBS. You would just watch all these great shows from back in the day. It was
1:19.1	just it was crazy. I just love TV growing up. That's probably why I don't watch
1:24.6	it because I know it's so good that it'll just grab me not I mean not the the
1:31.0	big stuff that I'm talking about everything that's on Netflix and and HBO and
1:37.2	Showtime and FX and once in a while I'll sit down and and get into something
1:43.9	like a breaking bad. I'll watch the entire thing or or the sopranos or or the
1:50.5	wire. Those are things that I went crazy over. But back in the day, I would just
1:56.1	watch like streets of San Francisco, happy days all in the family, the Jefferson's
2:03.6	LeVernon Shirley, Beretta, oh, Beretta, Kojak, I would watch everything non-stop.
2:14.3	Just consume it all and just love it. Be it school, trying to do impressions of
2:20.7	people like Kojak, who loves you, baby? Who loves you? I loved all that
2:28.7	Sanford and Sun. Oh, fuck. Anyway, the reason I bring that up is my guest today is an
