Well, we just concluded hosting all of Katie's family for three nights, four days.

Katie provided, I mean, how many meals is that?

You provided many meals for all of your family.

And just so everyone knows, many of you know this already, Katie's one of 11 children.

And so all 10 of her siblings, our in--laws, the married, you know, the married

siblings, her nieces and nephews, your parents were all in town for Easter weekend. And it was

a total highlight. I'm, I'm just blown away with how much fun it was. As I already mentioned,

Katie was a workhorse for the days, the weeks leading up to it.

And then your family were just some of the, we're the most gracious guests as well. And so today

we're going to be talking about some takeaways from hosting a large group for multiple days,

some what worked, what didn't work, and just some things that we're

excited about going forward when it comes to hospitality and making our home a place of

relationship-rich environments and situations, because that's what we want our children to be

brought up with. And so we're excited to continue on

down that journey. Yes. I mean, before we say anything else, my family is so relaxed. They're so

easy to host. And they are good with anything. Like you guys know we lived in a tent for a period of

time. My parents lived in the tent with six kids for two years. Like they're very comfortable being uncomfortable. And so there really was just no pressure

when it came to hosting them, which is really fun. Sorry, I'm fighting with my microphone here.

Which just made everything so extra because they're the most gracious guests.

And so it was really fun.

We, you guys know we did a little remodel and the downstairs of our barn turned some stalls

that were slotted to be animal stalls into people stalls and made an extra couple bedrooms
