So today is a Short Sharp Monday show and it's from a question that I had online about cooking with fats or oils.

And this is an interesting question because for me it's something that I actually went quite

deep into early on in my nutrition career.

Early on I looked a lot at the specifics of nutrition so I looked heavily at the type of

fats you would want to consume the same with

carbohydrates the same with protein then as I drifted more into the science of

nutrition I kind of looked kind of more a broader view but also a specific view from numbers of

macro nutrients and calories and all of this kind of stuff is important and

what I found with most people is that I kind of I

suppose I drifted away from the recommendations of specific fat, carbs, proteins you might want

to eat because a lot of people were missing what was

important and not able to get the whole kind of calorie situation or portion control

So I kind of moved away from talking about it and I'm not saying that it's not important

information because what you actually is very important and I suppose
