unabashedly adore this movie. I really wanted to. You know when you hear about something

that's like, it's a 90s riot feminist punk

apocalyptic film?

I was like, here's hoping.

And it might not fully be that for me.

So one, David said, this is Furiosa before Furiosa, a slew of High Camp, Hollywood, not understanding the property.

Lori Petty, Naomi Watts, Malcolm McDowell, choose the scenery, and Ice Tea plays a mutant kangaroo.

He does. He does. A glorious failure of a movie with a kick and soundtrack. The soundtrack is awesome. It's really good. The soundtrack is really good. And then this one really charmed me from Carrie. I wish I had seen this when I was young. It would have been right in my weird wheelhouse, but still an odd fun movie to watch. I mean, fair. A thousand percent, yeah.

Kat, how did this sit for you?

Okay, so I haven't seen this movie in a very long time. I watched this when I was 11, and I thought it fucking ruled. That's the right time to see this movie. Yes. Oh, 11-year-old me was like, this girl is so cool. She doesn't give a shit. She's fun. She tells jokes. She wears cool outfits. The fucking a kangaroo man thing is a whole different thing. But, okay. And also, even as an adult, I'm like, this is the role Lori Petty was born to play. Yes. I don't, the film doesn't do her justice, but she, this is the most fun I've ever seen her.
