Well, where does that go?

Where these five things that really flow out of that,

that are just destructive to relationships,

that are really where the selfishness of sin lives in relationships.

First is self-righteousness. I'm so full of myself that it's impossible for me to convince myself that I'm the problem.

I just can't believe that I'm the problem.

Think about this.

When you do something wrong, if you're God's child and the heart of stone has been taken out of you and what's been replaced is a heart of flesh,

when you do wrong, what will happen to you, your conscience will bother you.

And when your conscience bothers you, you only have one of two choices to make.

You confess that that thing is wrong

and you place yourself once again

under the justifying mercies of Christ

and you receive his forgiveness
