This is Jim Clementi, retired FBI profile, former New York City prosecutor and writer-producer of criminal minds and bluebeard on Audible.

With me today is Maureen O'Connell, retired FBI agent, and also a member of the FBI's evidence response team

for 19 years.

And with us today is a very special guest and a friend of mine.

Griff Garrison from the Rich McKinney Sheriff's Office in Augusta, Georgia, retired.

I was a homicide detective there,

as well as a hostage negotiator with the SWAT team. Awesome. Well, it's great to meet you, Griff.

Nice to meet y'all. And, Jim, I met Griff when I was, when I first retired and we were on that

blockbuster show called Hunted.

And so it's a bunch of law enforcement people and we were hunting people down nationwide,

mainly down in Griff's neck of the wood, down in Georgia.

Yeah, it was the world's largest game of, hiding go see.

Yeah, and it was fun because some of us were able to use our contacts in different places to get information.

And then the production company didn't like that.

And they started sending us on wild goose chases.

Griff and I would talk to each other and say, this is some bullshit right here, man. They wanted to make it look like you didn't know what you were doing when you were like 10 steps ahead of them. Right. Not everyone at the CP, but there were a few people there that were just interesting. Yeah. A lot of them were really good. We loved a lot of them.

I don't think production realized how far-reaching law enforcement can be.

Yeah.

Just put it that way.

Yeah.
