Welcome to Talking Giant's Player Profiles and Projections and today we have the guys that start with Kay, Kenny Galady and Kay Von Tibuto, two very important pieces of this team. I'm your host Bob, just going to hear with my co-host Justin Pennick.

And Justin, we're going to start with Widers here Kenny Galady. This is probably a little more enthusiastic last year coming off of the contract at 6 foot 4213 pounds. He's 28 years old now. On year two of a 4 year 72 million dollar contract and will likely be here for another two years with there being a 14 mil dead cap in 2020, 2023. They don't need to save 7 mil.

Justin, he had an extremely disappointing season with 30 stepping catches 521 yards and zero touchdowns, but still leading the team in yards, but was third in yards per game with 37.

We'll break it all down the Kenny Galady, but I hate using this phrase, it can't be as bad as last year.

Yeah, you do hate using that phrase because we've said it for the last two years and it has seemed to always gotten worse Bobby Skinner, but we signed Kenny Galady.

I think that was the most excited I've been as a Giants fan since 2016.

Yeah, I mean, it was a celebration like it was taking advantage of the rookie, the rookie contract window with Daniel Jones and I still going back now with everything the way things played out when it give that contract, but in the moment, I still don't feel bad for being excited about that.

No, especially because you kept Jason Garrett, which the the most high we go, drop in an F bomb in the first two minutes, most fucked up thing about the Kenny Galady signing is that that was the signing that made the most sense for Jason Garrett's bad scheme, where it's just let's just throw this ball up to a guy that can go up and get it.

And we just didn't do that.

I feel I actually feel better about Kenny Galady if used correctly, I feel better about Kenny Galady and Jason Garrett systems than I kind of do in Brian Davilsys.

Well, I will say so far what we've seen in camp.

I don't want to talk about that too much.

We have seen him use the correct way.

So it'll be up the Kenny Galady and Daniel Jones of how good he will be because they are using him down the field.

So let's go through some just stats regular stats for Kenny Galady for his career last year in the 14 games 37 catches 521 yards zero touchdowns a 48.7% catch rate.

That's horrible.

The year before in five games with the Lions 20 catches 338 yards to touchdown 62% catch rate good.

And then his best year was 2019 replay the full season 65 catches 1200 yards led the league with 11 touchdowns and 56% catch rate.

So obviously the worst of that year is last year, but I do want to split it of games with Daniel Jones and games without him and seven games with DJ full games with DJ at 23 catches 372 yards and 60% catch rate.

So not the best, but at a full season that's 56 catches and 903 yards.

That's a lot different than 37 catches and 521 yards even though it's when you consider the scheme to like it.
