1:28.8	that have been generated in the wake of an immigration policy whose rationale is, what would you say,
1:38.5	incomprehensible, not only incomprehensible, but absent. What's the function of the untrammeled immigration
1:46.2	policies that characterize Germany and France and the UK? Especially given the
1:51.2	obvious fact that they're producing a tremendous amount of
1:55.7	internal stress. We talked a little bit about the more pragmatic aspects of the
2:01.2	problem. It's easier to travel now than it ever was before. It's easier
2:04.8	to share information. And certainly both of those factors play a cardinal role, but
2:11.0	there's also this strange blindness among the political elite, a willful
2:16.0	blindness, or perhaps a motivated willful blindness to the catastrophic consequences of these kinds of
2:24.0	indiscriminate policies.
