Good morning, Merle. How are you?

Well, I'm doing pretty good. It's a little cloudy and crazy weather here in Chippewa, but that's nothing new.

All right. Well, Merrill, tell us a little bit about your background and what you do now.

Well, I left Ole Miss about 100 years ago, determined to save the world and rescue damsels in distress.

And I learned that the world was not a nice and neat and orderly place.

And I entered the first drug wars as in the New Mississippi Dura narcotics.

And went home to become their first captain along the way.

He was kidnapped and held hostage by drug dealers, ambushed with my man by a sniper in a terrible gun battle,

and lured out to be assassinated near Memphis at a place I took to you, took you to when you visited me.

Yeah.

And stayed in the bureau for a long time.

And then we had some political interference and bad people were tapping our phones.

The enemy was inside the gates.

And so I left and went to a bell system as a security manager and did a lot of other things.
