Summary

A member of Tenacious Mamas (my business and leadership mastermind group) recently shared with us that she was feeling stuck - without a sense of direction or much clarity around her goals. These feelings of stuckness and perhaps even confusion around stuckness are so common given what we have all been through this year. Things have been unpredictable for many months now and will continue to be so for many more months. This leads us to feel like we lack control and direction, which makes it hard to connect to a sense of purpose and specific goals. So, how can we keep moving forward? The answer lies in who you’re spending time with, how you’re spending time alone (yes, you need to be spending a little time alone - which may feel nearly impossible in COVID times), and what thought patterns you’re making space for. 0:52.2	Hello, shameless moms. Happy Monday. The world just keeps spinning. I mean, it feels like just barely
0:57.8	keep spinning sometimes, but it does keep spinning. And no matter where you are today, I'm glad that
1:02.4	you're here with me. Times continue to be hard and heavy and just really enraging in many ways.
1:08.9	And I want you to know that you're not alone. This morning,
1:11.6	Vinnie woke up and the first thing he said to me was mom. I had a dream last night that this
1:15.6	girl was being really mean to me, but I told her that she had to stop because we have to
1:20.9	defund the police and support women. And Black Lives Matter. I was like, wow, didn't see that coming at 6.30 in the morning, but here we are.
1:31.3	So, you know, I know that our kids are absorbing all the things that we're talking about.
1:36.5	And so make sure that you're talking about things that really matter in front of your kids and make sure that they have an understanding at a level
1:44.5	that is appropriate for their age. They have some sort of understanding about the state of our
1:49.6	world and the way that we can all still have power when we feel powerless. Because holy cow,
