honor to be here. Oh my goodness. So, first off, can you tell me how you ended up in Alaska at age 22,

like we talked about in an email conversation we had ahead of the show? Well, it seemed like a good idea at the time.

My guess is you were looking for adventure like every other young person who ends up in Alaska.

Am I right?

Yeah, absolutely.

I threw everything I thought mattered into my Nissan pickup truck and just drove north.

Where were you from originally?

I grew up in upstate New York originally.

And what was the appeal of Alaska?

Well, definitely adventure and outdoorsy stuff and and just, just that unknown, you know.
