How Lipstick Change the Face of American History from Prometheus Books, has been featured

in The Wall Street Journal, New York Post, and earned a starred review in Publishers Weekly.

Her next book on the

long-term impact of the spiritualist movement when we spoke to the dead, how ghosts gave

American women their voice, comes out on September 16th from Source Books. As her stage persona,

The Lady I, she has worked as a sideshow performer with acts ranging from Rob Zombie to Cirque to Sale

and has appeared on Gossip Girl, Audities, The President Show, Mysteries at the Museum,

and Dickinson. She is also the founder of the Coney Island Book Fair, and I'm so excited to have her

Yes, I just off the top, wanted to thank Elizabeth Yucco for putting us together. She was like,

I know somebody you have to have on your show. Yeah, I thank her for that. I think, I can't remember

whether I've written for her. I've certainly talked with her. She used to do, because her background is so

interesting. She has a degree, and I think a degree is on like medical ethics or something like that.

And I have done some sideshow history. So we've talked about like the body on display and, you know,

what that means or different bodies on display. Right.
