And we are all three educators at a small private school in Austin, Texas, named Veritas Academy.

And we all like books and letters and history and art and each other and rain.

I actually went to celebrate the fourth this weekend at a lakehouse and it rained for a good chunk of it.

So as a Canadian, I may have asked this a year ago good chunk of it so as a Canadian I may have

asked this a year ago on the podcast but as a Canadian how do you greet people on the fourth of

July happy Independence Day happy fourth but happy fourth sounds so awkward to say happy fourth of

July happy fourth I've just never thought about it I think usually the the standard Texas greeting is whee-whee-haw.

And then you few pistols in the air.

Yeah, yeah, that's right.

That explains that.
