Byer from the Organic Gardner Podcast. Jackie and I are going to be talking about something that I feel

like I really missed my first few years of gardening and I just didn't put a lot of emphasis on it.

And that is the importance of building

soil health now there might be a really good reason that I didn't put a lot of emphasis on it at the

beginning and that's because it can get overwhelming you think about composting and

fertilizing and organic and non-organic and mulch and everything in between and it can get

really overwhelming and it can make gardening seem like not so easy anymore. But here's why I think

you're going to enjoy our conversation and that's because whether you are a first time gardener

or a beginning gardener in the first few years or you've been doing it

for a while there is something in this show for you jackie interviews some amazing knowledgeable people

in the gardening world and when i've heard her podcasts i have learned so much and there's so much in what

she shares on her own podcast

and what she's gonna share today

that really runs the gamut

between basic beginner information

and some more high level gardening methods.

And I still wanted to share those high level gardening methods

because even if you are a beginner,

we all want to get better year after year. And if there's some things that we talk about that you're
