intelligence in that over a thousand universities used the textbook he co-authored to teach

the foundations of AI programming to computer science students.

As you will soon hear, Stuart is deeply concerned about the long-term risks that AI could

pose to humanity, and by long-term I'm afraid I don't mean eons, more like a few decades.

Stuart is certainly not alone in being concerned as anyone who pays attention to the world

of AI knows, but unlike many of the folks who sound the alarm on this front, Stuart is

a profoundly informed denizen of the innermost sanctum of the global AI community.
