Welcome back to move with Lauren Elizabeth. I'm Lauren Elizabeth and today I'm going to be joined by a fellow Lauren, but I'm much cooler Lauren. Obviously Lauren.

0:09.3

Lauren, go as as you might know, but now Lauren Ireland. She's obviously always been both. She just changed from her maiden name to her married name on Instagram.

0:19.7

But you know her as the co founder of summer Fridays, we had Maryanna Hewitt on a couple weeks ago, and now we need her other half Lauren on the podcast to talk all things balancing all of her different roles.

0:31.7

She is a mom, she is a founder, she is a social media influencer, she is a wife, and she is such an inspiration to me. I love our current mood combo.

0:42.7

So I really think you guys are going to enjoy it and it's full of inspiration. But first let's get into my best mood and worst mood of the week reminding you that we are all going to have a plethora of moods.

0:54.6

They are totally normal. We have to feel all the feels and no matter how good a week, there's always going to be a little bit of a worst mood. And no matter how bad a week, you can find a good mood in it.

1:04.2

My best mood this week was working my ass off like I told you guys last week on the podcast. I had such a crazy work day on Tuesday.

1:12.9

But the difference in this is that it's not the glorifying hustle culture work type talk. This is actually me just having a total mood boost and mood shift of

1:24.1

wanting to be proactive and feeling inspired and desiring to work. It was really getting everything I needed to get done, but not procrastinating it. Just wanting to get it done, wanting to do my best at it, not have

1:39.0

asking it, not feeling lazy or feeling like I have to do anything, feeling really inspired and motivated and ambitious. I had moments where I was proactively working. So for me, the difference is I always have a lot of deadlines and due dates and things I need to do. And I'm pretty good at always getting all my stuff done is most of the time, even if I procrastinated, I'm very good at getting things done last minute.

2:02.1

But these beautiful moments come where I'm feeling really inspired and motivated and ambitious, where I want to be working, but I also want to think about the future and I start coming up with ideas and planning and even getting around to some of that stuff that I've always thought of but never really executed on.

2:18.5

So I really had this week that was just full of work work work like the great Rihanna once said work work work for creative. Sometimes it's hard to find those moments of inspiration.

2:31.0

And it's so normal to go through those dry spells. And so it was really a best mood of like, wow, like I really want to be working right now. I'm not just dreading what I'm doing. I'm really excited again. And so I think that it's such a good mood, especially with all of the kind of uncertainty and anxiety and everything that I've been feeling to just put all the drama aside and really throw myself in to my work and remind myself why I love what I do so much.

2:58.7

I wish I had tips because honestly it just kind of happened, but I'll try to figure it out for you guys. My worst mood was just kind of that little bit of not being able to put my phone down, I guess it was like, yes, the desire was there and I was so inspired.

3:12.4

But even when I felt like I wanted to kind of like take a minute, it was almost that like muscle memory and just like kind of instinctively like always opening back up Instagram or wanting to watch something on TV, but like not being able to focus and wanting to read a book.

3:27.3

But just like couldn't let go of my phone. So I was able to listen to my body in a sense of, you know, chatting with my brother hanging out with camera and going for walks and stuff like that, which are always really good mood boosters for me.

3:40.2

But it was definitely really hard for me to turn off from social media and emails and stuff like that.

3:45.9

But it's not the worst worst mood just because it was me getting a lot of good stuff done. I wasn't doing too much scrolling unconsciously, I guess.

3:56.0

It wasn't too much just like passively wasting my time on the internet.

3:59.7

It was definitely me just like kind of being hyper focused on this one mood and wanting to maybe do a little bit more of like reading and maybe watching TV at times and then just kind of ending up picking my phone back up, which kind of annoyed me.

4:12.8

My screen time went up 16%, which definitely annoyed me.

4:17.5

So it's not the worst mood, like I said, because technically I was getting stuff done, which is always great.
