Summary

Senescence, growing old, and biohacking- we’re constantly looking for new,
innovative ways to stop the aging process, or at least, slow it down. Zombie cells might actually hold the answer to this. Also known as “senescent cells”, recent studies have shown zombie cells to be linked to aging and age-related diseases. In this podcast, I’ll be talking about why exactly this occurs and what you can do to help prevent these cells from stealing more time from you.

the cells of the body work. Let's do a quick recap. Mitosis is the process. Remember where your

cells duplicate all its content and then divide and split to

form identical cells. And mitosis is a super important process that must be carefully regulated so

1:52.6

the DNA copies appropriately and you don't develop health problems like cancer from mutations.

1:59.6

When your cells stop dividing and they can't mitose

anymore, they become senescent. And these senescent cells can plug up your entire body with defective,

deficient, deformed, and mutated versions of normal. When you're younger, the immune system

spots these cells and eliminates them from your body. When you're younger, the immune system spots these cells and
