So, this one's submitted by Tyler Foster, the veteran is Greg Gentry, he was in the army during Operation Desert Storm.

So, hey guys, I want to give a close friend of mine a shoutout.

Greg and I worked together and saw in residential HVAC systems, and it didn't take long to figure out that both of us love the outdoors and bow hunting.

Typically don't take long to figure that out, but it takes like what, 10 minutes, 5 minutes?

It's nice to get a buddy that you work with that out, isn't the same stuff though.

He taught me everything I know about HVAC, and now I run a crew of my own.

Five years ago, we were doing a duck system in a cross place that was full of black mold,

Greg caught a cold, and shortly after the cough never went away.

After countless trips and countless tests at the doctor, he was diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis, which basically deteriorates your lungs.

So, he was immediately placed on a lung transplant list and waited approximately a year and had to quit working in the meantime.

He called me one day on my way to work and told me that his lungs were there and that they were going to put them in.

He died twice on the operating room, and they put him on a heart monitor for two days.

When he took him off the heart monitor, he did great.

After a long months in the hospital, he was released, but was told he would never work again, so he took his time and spent it in the outdoors.

Between Pitter's a fish and deer, I knew that he was living his life to the fullest.

Since then, he has had blood clots in his lungs and has had numerous procedures.

He was in the hospital for five months, and all the muscle in his legs deteriorated, and he has been in a wheelchair ever since.

He's been in rehab for a close to a year and took four steps last week.

I told him he needed to get those damn things working so he can hit the woods this fall.
