happens to coincide with the exciting new introduction of your book, The Underdog Curse. And I'm

really excited to jump into this because I think it's a fascinating topic to dig into. So tell us,

set the stage about the underdog curse and how you came to create this

and why it's important. Okay, well, I'm a chiropractor. And so I've been in practice for 18 years.

And one of my biggest focuses in practice is helping people to decrease their stress response.

And your nervous system, which is the main system that controls everything in

your body, it can usually be in one of two states. It can be in what's called a sympathetic state,

which is a fight or flight state, or it can be in a different state, which is called parasympathetic,

which is more of a rest and repair state or a rest and digest.

And so for my 17 years in practice, I've been, you know, helping people through the

chiropractic adjustment because if we increase the mobility of the spine and decrease what

we call subluxation in the spine, that helps to increase stimulation to your brain, which

helps to dampen down or shut down the stress response, which allows your body to heal.

And I've also been recommending lifestyle changes for people as well as far as exercising, like meditation, yoga, movement, eating, and all that kind of stuff.
