So this week we're talking about a very common surgical procedure that you'll mostly see

done in children, and that is the tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, which is often just referred to as a T and A.

So this procedure involves removing the palatine tonsils and the adenoids.

Again, it's a super, super common procedure, but it's definitely not one to be taken lightly
